Here lies a softening of shadows — a reimagining of old stories that have taught us to fear the woods, the witch, the wolf. Sometimes the very thing we were warned about is the thing that sets us free.
Influenced by her creative and nomadic life, Rowena is a self-taught artist who allows stories to spill onto the page for the listening eyes to hear. She believes that art has a life and voice of its own. Over the years, she has developed a rich and imaginative world of curious creatures and fairytale aspects drawn from deep within her psyche.
