Mixed media acrylic painting with textiles and pearled beads, hand-sewn onto canvas and set within a wooden ornate frame. A piece close to my heart, Free Spirit embodies the freedom I felt while travelling and busking in Mexico many moons ago. It carries my love for the open road and a life lived untethered. The work also nods to worlds beyond the physical — where death is not an ending, but a sacred reminder to live fully, brightly, unapologetically. A celebration of aliveness in all its realms.

This is a mixed media piece on wooden canvas, incorporating acrylic paint, fabric, and a built-in light box with remote control pad. The work features a 3D-printed bear head and 3D resin hands holding an LED candle, creating a layered, illuminated effect that combines sculptural and light elements. This is more than a piece of art, this a living, interactive alter to the Divine Mother. The Mother archetype comes in many forms and some are wilder and less passive than porcelain.
